1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Grind or Pay mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Grind or Pay ("we," "us," or "our").

What You Can Do

We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Grind or Pay App on a device that runs Apple iOS or Android operating systems, in accordance with the App Store or Google Play terms of service.

What You Cannot Do

You may not:

  • Transfer, redistribute, or sublicense the App to third parties
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Access the App through automated means (bots, scripts, etc.)

3. User Account & Representations

When you create an account, you agree that:

  • All registration information you provide is accurate and up-to-date
  • You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
  • You will not violate any applicable laws or regulations

GRIND PRO — Monthly

Duration: 1 month

Price: $2.99/month

How Billing Works

  • Payment Processing: Payments are charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the time of purchase confirmation
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the same price
  • Free Trials: If offered, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period expires

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time:

  • iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No Prorated Refunds: No refunds will be provided for unused portions of a subscription period.
  • App Store/Play Store Purchases: We cannot process refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google. Please contact Apple or Google directly for refund requests.

5. Third-Party Services

AI Proof Validation (OpenAI)

The App uses OpenAI's API to automatically validate your routine proofs. When you submit proof:

  • Your proof content (photo or text) is sent to OpenAI for validation
  • Data is not stored beyond the validation request
  • Data is not used to train AI models
  • You consent to this data transmission by using AI-validated routine types

Payment Processing (RevenueCat & Stripe)

We use third-party payment processors to handle subscriptions and payments. We do not store your full payment card information.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, graphics, and trademarks in the App are owned by Grind or Pay or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Maximum Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed $50.00 USD.

8. App Store & Google Play Terms

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms
  • Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
  • You are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo
  • In case of warranty failure, you may notify the App Distributor for a refund (if applicable)

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
